As the title suggests, it's been quite an eventful week. I've been working at the Goodwill Industries warehouse for almost 2 months now. However, I need to be officially labeled as handicapped or something in order to stay there. I can't do that, so this was my last week.

But, my chance, my mom happend to be working at the Goodwill Industries office and she was told that there was a position open for some place where I'd have to wash dishes and set up tables for banquets. I got that call from her while I was at work thursday and I had her pick me up early so I could get my papers in. The unbelievable thing is that the jobs I've gotten through Goodwill Industries require no interviews. But I did have to go take a drug screen for it. I passed, of course, because I don't do any drugs. I don't even drink or smoke. So I have the job for two months. I'm just replacing some lady who went out for hip surgergy.

But that same thursday, after getting my drug screen done, I was involved in a car accident. Me, my mom, one of my cousins, and my little 7 year old sister were in it. But we're cool, it wasn't that bad. Well, it was for the car. :/ That thing was smashed in the front and took out the left headlight and there was transmission fluid leaking and stuff. We hit the back of a truck that was trying to slow down and stop but we didn't see the lights and we couldn't see over the truck so we didn't know why it was stopping. But again, we're okay. Just out of an easy ride for awhile.

I'm hoping I get a hold of my dad tomorrow because I need a ride from him to work until we get one of the cars running. And speaking of getting cars running, I may get mine running here sometime soon. My cousin says it may only take $50-$120 to fix altogether. Then I'll just need plates and actually get the title put in my name and get my license and...

Yeah I've got things to do. I should be going to my cousin's house this coming weekend to check it out and go over it with him. I should have at least $950+ saved in my checking account by then. Not like I need all that for the car but I'm just saying. And if it's worth doing, I may get it painted. I always wanted to get a clean color on it and then put the Gorillaz characters on it. That'd be awesome. I don't think Jamie Hewlett would be mad. I'm definantly going to at least get some seat covers because the interior is kind of not my color but oh well, I just need something to get me around. It's really not a bad looking car. It's a '95 Mazda 626....and it's white. :/ At least it's not purple.

A couple more things:

We may be moving here in a couple months. I'll be so glad if we get a place with air-conditioning. Maybe we'll move back to the east side where I'm familiar with things. But hopefully I'll have my car and license up and running so I can help with the move. And I'll only live with my mom for a little while longer until I secure a job that I can stick with and will support me on my own. I can't wait to get my own place.

And I think I'm actually getting over my stubbornness (sp?). I'm not quite as hung up on trying to get with Michele. I mean I don't want to let her go and would love to come down and see her and possibly make something out of it, but I'm just worried about getting things done. She doesn't seem that interested in me now, though. She doesn't show really any affection towards me, even when we end a chat. I'm pretty sure "I gotta go now cya" doesn't count as a "goodnight". I mean, even that would've been better. But I guess she doesn't believe in me enough so she's just trying to avoid any strong feelings toward me. That's how I see it anyway.
